Quality Development with Independent Training Providers and Colleges

I am on their side, their critical friend and accountability coach. I guide them in shaping their next steps; in a positive and make it happen way. Coach key colleagues; Review key documents and adapt to new ways of working; Consolidate roles and responsibilities; Create and drive their Improvement Plan; Prepare for Ofsted; Gather information and review their Self Assessment Report; Challenge current position and present risks and plans at Exec level.

The SET Management Board is critical to the function of SET. It consists of SET members from the Practitioner Advisory Group (PAG) and a lay member, in-house Education and Training Foundation (ETF) staff and trustees. SET mission is to champion the teaching quality and professionalism of 22,000+ members. As the only professional body for teachers, trainers and leaders within the Further Education (FE) and Training sector, SET is dedicated to supporting your career development and raising standards

DfE AWD co-creator and facilitator

Creation and webinar delivery of modules on the Apprenticeship Workforce Development Programme with apprenticeship specialists from across the country to support organisations develop and improve their provision in line with DfE focused approach to increase achievements across all providers. The AWD will initially run for 3 years.

HR leaders are the beating heart of the organisation and have a key role in creating the vision and driving the culture. In this interactive masterclass, Dr Barbara Van der Eecken will take you through how to motivate colleagues to lead ethically and embody the College values, empowering them to create the right environment for students to thrive in. With practical examples of internal and external collaboration to increase wellbeing and creativity, the session will also look at attraction and retention of talent to future proof your organisation. Reflection and discussion will leave you with plenty of positive ideas to consider.

Developing "Find your Fizz" with "Friday Fizz" talks, podcasts, Q&A and take aways to leave you feeling refreshed and energised, through the power of collaboration and reflection, positive and motivational conversations and expressing ideas and sharing take aways. Be your best self and empower others! Still in development but actively looking for contributors from all areas of the sector, from outside of the sector, anyone with thoughts and ideas, let's have a conversation.
